I'm a dual U.S. / Australian citizen, having lived some 40 years in the U.S. (Buffalo N.Y.!!), and the last 5 years in Australia. Both of my countries are fighting a war in Iraq, both of my countries are fighting a culture war, and the poor and working people in both my countries have been under attack by the wealthy. If that isn't confusing enough, my countries have rejected and embraced the Monarchy. I have a Queen, a President, and a Prime Minister. I rather like the Queen.
